So apparently, James Dobson has started railing against Obama and specifically calling into question his (Obama's) faith:

"I think he's deliberately distorting the traditional understanding of the Bible to fit his own world view, his own confused theology," Mr Dobson said. He took exception to Mr Obama stating that Jesus's Sermon on the Mount was "a passage that is so radical that it's doubtful that our own Defence Department would survive its application".

Ironically, back in January, Dobson also shared his opinion on McCain:

"Speaking as a private individual, I would not vote for John McCain under any circumstances," said James Dobson.

O my, oh my, whatever will we evangelicals do?? Think for ourselves? Pray for the HS guidance in our individual decision? Wait a minute... that's crazy! Pretty soon we might think we can read the Bible on our own & hear God speaking to us directly.
